UBA Tanzania Celebrates Africa Day 2016

Like other in African countries and the rest of the world, UBA Tanzania celebrated Africa day, Wednesday, May 25, 2016.

Africa Day is designated to celebrate the uniqueness of the African continent and its people.

UBA celebrating the day across all countries where we have presence with the theme “Africa Rising”, as a demonstration of UBA’s optimism about the huge potential and resources the continent has been blessed with.

The deep understanding of the businesses and trends in Africa has led UBA to being the leading pan-African Bank on the continent with operations in 19 countries. UBA not only provides finance to critical sectors of the African economy, but also drives financial access and inclusion among millions of Africans.

UBA will continuously seek to invest in critical sectors, such as power, agriculture, infrastructure, ICT etc which have the capacity to create employment for the growing population, a key requirement for the continent to achieve its huge socio- economic potentials.

UBA celebrates the day with pride.

It was the Birthday of the Head of Retail Banking, Omar Msangi as well, he cut the cake to celebrate his birthday with UBA staff members.
